Our Story

Grantham Construction has been a cornerstone of the North Mississippi construction industry for nearly seven decades. Our rich history and legacy are built on a foundation of quality craftsmanship, integrity, and dedication to our clients.

Our Beginnings:

In 1956, Albert A. Grantham founded Grantham Construction with a vision to create homes that stand the test of time. Albert's commitment to quality and his meticulous attention to detail quickly earned him a reputation for excellence in homebuilding. His passion for construction laid the groundwork for what would become a family tradition of superior craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Second Generation:

In 1966, Grantham Construction was incorporated, and Albert was joined by his son, A.P. "Sonny" Grantham. Sonny brought new energy and ideas to the company, helping to expand its services and reach. Under their combined leadership, Grantham Construction began taking on larger and more complex projects, including commercial buildings and historic restorations.

Third Generation:

The legacy continues with Barry and Brad Grantham, the third generation of Grantham Construction. Barry, President joined the company in 1992, and Brad, Vice President joined shortly thereafter. Randy Johnson, Vice President and Kim Baird, Office Manager have served as a bridge between the second and third generations and have played an integral part of Grantham Construction’s success. With an eye toward the future, we strive to carry on the same ideals of quality and customer service set forth by the prior 2 generations.
